    Cable Length Summary

CCTVplanner automatically calculates the total cable length for all routes in your project. This information is displayed in the project summary and included in PDF exports. The cable length calculation uses the scale you set on the floor plan, so make sure your scale is accurate for correct measurements.

Tip: Route cables along walls and corridors, just like in a real installation. This produces realistic cable length estimates and makes your design documents more professional. Always add 10-15% extra to your calculated cable lengths to account for vertical runs and slack.
