We are building the CCTV planner installers actually wanted.

I'm Aleksander. I studied internal security at the Polish Naval Academy in Gdynia: facility protection, risk analysis, security systems. I've been programming since high school, and for the last ten years I've worked with cameras. Two trades that rarely live in one person, and each kept exposing what the other was missing.

CCTVplanner is where they finally met.

I built the first version in 2025, for myself. Designing CCTV systems, I kept bouncing between tools that each failed in a different way: one drew decorative cones instead of computing FOV per EN 62676-4, another demanded a Windows install, another cost as much as half the project it was supposed to plan. So I wrote the tool I actually needed, around my own workflow: real lens math, in the browser, from site plan to offer.

I showed it to a few installer friends. Within a week, three of them were quoting real jobs with it and asking when they could show their colleagues. That was the moment it stopped being a private tool: the problem wasn't mine, it was the whole trade's.

In early 2026 I launched CCTVplanner.io publicly, on deliberately simple terms: no investors to answer to, no credit card to start, no timer counting down a trial. A free plan up to six cameras, five euro a month when you outgrow it. Hosted in the EU, and your data never leaves it.

Today more than 5,000 installers across Europe design with it, and their feedback sets the roadmap. The features I ship next are the ones real installations asked for.

Alongside it I'm building DEFENSAR Operis, an AI platform that receives and verifies alarms for security agencies. The two products sharpen each other: every hard case from live monitoring comes back to the planner as a better default, a stricter check, a more honest number.
