Our Story

Hi! My name is Aleksander, I'm 30 years old. I've been programming since high school - out of passion, not a degree. I've been working with cameras for ten years. I graduated in internal security at the Polish Naval Academy in Gdynia: facility protection, risk analysis, security systems.
These two worlds met in CCTVplanner.
In 2025 I built it for myself. I was designing CCTV systems, used the available calculators, and each of them was missing something - either it didn't compute FOV per EN 62676-4, or it required installation, or it cost as much as half a project. I wrote my own tool, for my own workflow.
I showed it to a few installer friends. Three of them started using it for real quotes in the first week. "When can I use this for real?" "Can I show my colleagues?". That's when I realised I'm not alone with this problem.
In early 2026 I publicly launched CCTVplanner.io. No VC, no required credit card, no timer-based trial. Free plan up to six cameras, €5/month when you need more. EU-hosted, data never leaves the Union.
Today, more than 1500 installers across Europe use it. Every piece of feedback changes the roadmap.
In parallel, I'm building DEFENSAR Operis - an AI platform for receiving and verifying alarms for security agencies. Operis and CCTVplanner feed each other. Every challenge from real-world monitoring comes back to the planner as a better feature.
