The Eagle Eye Networks Eagle Eye DX02 is a fisheye/panoramic optic that captures a complete 180° or 360° scene from a single ceiling or wall position. 5MP resolution sharpens the image well past 1080p — facial identification extends to roughly 20 meters and retroactive digital zoom on recorded footage stays crisp, without the storage and bandwidth cost of a full 4K stream. There is no built-in IR illuminator on this model, so it depends entirely on ambient light. In dark environments, pair it with external IR floods or white-light illuminators. A narrow field of view trades coverage area for pixel density at distance — the right choice when you need to read faces or plates far from the camera, e.g., long corridors, gate approaches, ANPR installations. Super Low Light technology pulls usable color out of scenes lit by little more than a streetlight or moonlight, eliminating the need to drop into B/W mode in most night conditions.
